Farina-based models

In South Africa, on the other hand, they went one better, dreaming up not only a new name, but a version unique to the market...

The 1100/1300 range was probably built and/or sold in more overseas markets, and under a wider variety of names, than any other model produced by the company.

While the Dutch and the Danes were content to market the standard 1800 under names unique to their own countries, BL's Australian arm justified their new names for the model by re-clothing it in boxy saloon bodywork.
